@GrandDad: as far as I'm concerned, yes. Do please include perhaps a word count so we know how long the story is beforehand ^^
Well, it's a text manip that I already uploaded on the hub. I just wanted some criticisms, since it is my first one after all. And I kind of want to do this again some time in the future.

Started something new, I haven't done the shading yet, but any preliminary feedback is appreciated. https://imgur.com/a/sC5F6

Feel like the glow should be pink for the charm instead of light blue.
Yeah I'm not happy with it either, I was going for blue because Ahri has these blue orbs (I don't play LoL, no clue what they are). I may leave it out entirely.

If that can help : the blue orbs are mainly orbs that deal heavy damage. Think of pure energy, either in the form of an orb or of a wisp.
Though, she can send a literal pink heart to an enemy to charm him/her. So, that can work with pink.

Definitely look into some proper references then. There are a lot of "charm" related NSFW art of her out there, some featured on the Hub:

Okay, this one's more of a material request, but I'm too damn lazy to go find and necro a different thread for it, so I'll ask here:

Anyone know a good place to find pattern/texture images (clone stamp compatibility not necessarily required) like the one on the snake scales here? And yes, I've tried google image search, but at least 'snake scale pattern' or other such general terms don't seem to have the desired result.

Something like this? http://i.stack.imgur.com/Dsx8g.png
I use Sketchup Texture Club for all my patterns. Maybe you could repurpose a giraffe fur or leather one with some photoshop magic? Once you register you get X amount of textures for free each day. (I think 15?) You can download unlimited if you pay for it.

I've never had to pay for it, just look carefully between the many options, open every texture in a new tab and decide between 'em.

Kind of, though the angles aren't really what I had in mind (then again, I suppose I could shop them up). Besides, the scales were just the one example that's really eluding me at the moment.

You know, if I ever start drawing requests/commissions, I'll promise you the dubious honor of being my first guinea pi- I mean client.

xD I look forward to it!
This is pretty good! Your gf is talented! :D
A new thing I'm working on, note that this is just a rough sketch so that I have an idea where everything goes, the final version will look nicer. https://i.imgur.com/S6tD10Y.png

Mainly looking for feedback on anatomy and proportions, and maybe perspective.
@busshock:

The line dividing her breasts could be a little less pronounced, and her hair could dent in towards her neck a little perhaps to add to the "starved" visual you seem to be going for. Less volume in the hair = a slightly unhealthier appearance.

It looks as if her hips are turned towards the camera. Is that intended?

As she's clearly very thin, perhaps starved, you could define some muscles on her arms and tendons. Ugh, there was this whole imgur post about it a while ago how this guy from the Final Fantasy franchise was muscular but his tendons were showing, and his hunched posture was all really good to illustrate how someone at the point of starvation is defined in muscles and tendons showing. I can't find it again... But Christian Bale was in it! Movie: The Machinist (2004).

For the rest your perspective is nigh spot-on. The figure's feet can be a little shorter. If you want I can draw over it to show you how, but basically... they can be about half the length to make it seem like he's not standing on his tippy-toes.

Jealous of your rib definition and great profile expression :P
Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't going for 'starved' so much as 'skinny', I did overdefine the ribs a bit just so it was easy to see while sketching, I guess I'll dial it back a bit. The hips being turned is a good catch, I actually redrew that part a few times because I had a hard time getting it right, I guess it snuck in. Unless it's off-putting I think I'll leave it as-is though, because I honestly have no idea how to do it better.

EDIT: does anyone know any good general references for defining musculature in various positions?
I'm working on this manip of Poison Ivy and Barbara Gordon, and I like what I have so far, but I think it needs something more before it's good enough to post. Maybe some eye effects on Ivy, or some text? I'm really not sure. Any suggestions?

@origamiswami: How about you make Ivy's irises really bright, to match Barbara's greened eyes? Only her irises, or the ring around them.

For the rest it looks fine. The puff of pheromones, spores, whatever that is -- it's neatly subtle. I approve of subtle! ^^
Hey boys and G.I.R.L.s!

Anyone up for another game of spot the difference? Plenty of points to go around methinks.

<!>Loli warning<!> Link

Seriously, if anyone can be bothered, I'd appreciate feedback. Otherwise I might think I've improved or something silly like that.

#6 and main girl's nose are a bit bigger than the others. I'm talking, 3 pixels worth or so.

And you know that's just me nitpicking what can be nitpicked :p they're so goshdarned consistent for the rest, it is a wonderful reference sheet! Not too complicated, just enough character, perfect for making a comic with.
My fellow Hyp-Hubians, this art of mine I placed here has been flagged: https://someguy231.deviantart.com/art/Kaelin-Hypno-Hip-Sway-721463307

BUT, I'm not here to complain. What can I do to improve on it when it gets deleted off this site?

Her head is way too small in proportion with the rest of her body. Also her pose is rather stiff for someone apparently swaying her hips. I would look at references of dancers swaying their hips to get a feel of the gesture so it looks more like she's moving. :)
I'd also try to go for a less detailed mouth because that's right into the uncanny valley right there -- but that's personal preference I guess?

Proportions like geekgirl said are the most important part :)

Thanks y'all. I also may do it in color for the redo.

Also, the eyes should be (further) apart. A rule of thumb of facial proportions is to have an eye's width between the eyes.

Ya know... no one really told me that one before... Thanks.

I'd go for a relatively obvious and general one, I hope it helps : do a lot of drawing from real life, and observation of said real life.
Doing it genuenly helps figuring out how things works (volume/perspective and so on). I think it is always a good thing to do when trying to improve the overalll quality of your art. :)
