Hypnohub TCG who’s interested?
I like card games.
I like my fetishes.
Three cups of coffee and a sleepless night later, I came up with an outline for this monstrosity.
I feel like this could be a lot of fun, but for now it’s a concept.

Hypnohub trading card game

Damage types:

Visual
Audio
Magic
Toxin
Cyber
Contact
Mental

Each character card has a “Dom” and “Sub” effect
Doms can be used to activate Trance cards
Doms have defense ratings that determine how much damage they can take of each variety before succumbing
When a Dom succumbs they fall under the other player’s control and become a Sub.
Characters typically have one damage type and a gender as “Types”, however characters can have more than one damage type.

Genders:
Male
Female
Futa
Androgynous

Trance cards are abilities that can only be activated if you control a “Dom” of the proper Type(s). These are your “attacks”

Trinkets are equipment, can only be worn by units with the proper types, you only need to control any character, Dom or Sub to activate.

Secrets are kept in the hand and activate when a specific trigger occurs. May or may not require a Character to activate.

Four cards to start, Draw one per turn

Players can summon one character as a Dom per turn.

Trances and Trinkets can be declared at any time during your own turn

Secrets can be used when the description says

First to Trance five subs wins

Mechanics to add:

Sexuality:
+ more depth to Trance abilities
- might over complicate things
- could render a character useless because all of the opposing characters are stright

More descriptors:
+ added depth (cyborg, human, humanoid, monstrous)
- might over complicate things

Commander:
+ alternative win conditions
+ immersion
- lots of work
- not sure how to implement
This sounds awesome! I'd play it.
Looks pretty good at a glance. Ied say keep it simple, over complication is the death of all such things.

Thanks for the input. At the moment I’m looking into ways to make it playable digitally so that the Hib can enjoy it. I’d also need someone to help design individual cards and someone to help manip images.
I think could be interesting archetypes with certain thematics (as long as you do not need to focus an entire deck around it).

For example:
Doll/Time Stop/Statue Archetype: Focused on paralyzing enemy cards.
Pet Archetype: Focused on Pet Play, different effects depending on the animal.
Buttler/Maid/Servant Archetype: Focused on servitude, control of enemy minions until the end of the turn or permanent.
Robot Archetype: Silence enemy minions but you can force them to use their abilities.
Amnesia Archetype: Hand Control
Unaware Archetype: Deck Control

Things like that.

That’s not a bad idea, but there are no minions. All characters start out as full Doms, but beecome Subs upon running out of health of at least one type.
So controlling enemy characters is a cool idea, but I’m not sure how to do it. I’ll tgink of something.

You could start the match with 1 Dom and 5 Slaves, slaves being him/her shields and having abilities depending on what your Dom is.

Now I thought of something like that, but since the win condition is to get five slaves, I can’t see hiw to work that in.

Some Doms have the "summon slave" ability when Summoned..

Slaves are tokens summoneds when you summon the Dom, Each Dom has different number of slaves that work as her health. For example: Dom 3 HP, Summon 1 Slave 2HP, you need to destroy/control/get out of the way the slave first.
-When a Dom run outs of slaves, he/she can receive direct attack and become a sub.
-So a healing mechanic can become a "recover slaves" mechanic.

-If you steal a token you can not use it as a shield.
-Destroyed tokens leaves the field.

If it doesn't works is fine, maybe my suggestion was not a good idea xD

It’s not that, every character has an ability as a Dom, and they get their Sub ability when they succumb to control, turning them from a Dom into a Sub.

Yeah the creator of that topic actually talked to me about it. It’s a coincidence though.
You know, the more I think about this, the more I do want to get involved, if this is still on the table and there are slots available.
I have experience with many TCGs (I work at a card/game shop), and I play a couple virtual ones casually, as well.
I think we could definitely fine-tune the concept into something tangible and playable.

I've got a template for a sample charcater card, but I need a manipper.
As a quick update, I've reworked the rules a little bit in order to set this game aside from similar TCGs like Magic or Pokemon. I'm going to start working on a non-H version of the game under a different alias so I can work on the system and get broader feedback, once I've settled on a ruleset I like I'm gonna make a new thread to advertise and possibly set up a patreon to maintain a Unity license so that the local pervs on this forum can play together.

What do you need the Unity license for? Unless you expect to make a LOT of money, relatively spaeaking, you don't need to pay for it. Basic Unity is more than enough for most home developers

Unless they changed something in the last year or so, no. Not that I'm aware of. I had classes where I had to export for browsers and it was fine on the free version.
I like the idea of doms allowing certain cards to be played and such, but the problem is that you could theoretically lock the game out by just not playing doms. You can't play attacks and your opponent has no doms to steal and turn into subs, so you need some alternate wincon.

Yeah pretty sure thats the case. Pro license is if you're making more then £X or want to hide the Unity splash. Not sure what else you get with it these days. Used to be mecanim and shaders were locked on the basic version but they're available for everyone now

Although you mentioned playing together which will require some sort of server which will cost you

There is a rule that keeps you from not playing characters. First, you must have at least one character to use attack cards. Second, you don’t lose if your Deck runs dry. Instead, you must have a Dom on Field, or summon one from the Discard and then shuffle your Deck. If you can’t, you lose.
