I also listened to a lot of punk rock. Which at some point led to psychobilly. Yeah, I really like psychobilly.
Hell yeah psycho billy!

*Ahem*

Unrelated, but there's something about this Kavinsky track that gives me the shivers when it first starts up.
I don't know how but all of Kavinsky's music outside of the 1986 EP does nothing for me. That EP is great, though.
I've gained an immense appreciation for melodic death metal recently.
instrumental is the shit.

probably cause thats what i remix
I think my true musical aesthetic is that genre of Japanese music that kitbashed rock, synth, and in-house orchestra. ELO did this, too, depending on their configuration.

Also, Sound Euphonium's cover of Rydeen. It's the anime fight song I never knew I wanted.
I can tell you what kind of music I don't listen to, the works of Diplo. Literally never bothered to look up one of her songs.

My name comes from here instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yet2Q0M32GQ

Diplo is a man. Here's one of my favorite songs produced by him: https://m.soundcloud.com/eeerock/das-racist-you-can-sell-anything-prod-diplo
Some songs that I've liked over the years:

Alamaailman Vasarat - Hajakas. Alamaailman Vasarat do some type of progressive klezmer folk metal jazz punk heavy fusion. I think. I was never very good at music genres.

The Flower Kings - Flight 999 Brimstone Air. The Flower Kings is a fairly ordinary symphonic progressive rock group, but I like the intensity of this piece in particular.

Ed Starink - Ice Planet. At least I *think* Ed Starink is the artist - it took me a fair bunch of effort to track this song down at all, and the only copy on Youtube was uploaded by a some weird guy who *really* likes the Soviet Union. And it also weirds me out that it was created by this artist who, based on youtube search results, spent 90% of his musical career making uninspired synth covers of popular songs... and then there's this song that's not like anything else I've ever heard and that I haven't got a prayer of placing in a genre.

Link?
Me, I'm a fan of Gorillaz, the fictional band... and wondering when they'll start making more music.

I'm also a fan of anime/videogame music (We Are! and Eternity anyone?)
Really liked Kid Cudi in the past. Right now, I'm really into Logic and Chance.

Hmm. Ever heard of u-ziq or Plaid? It's been awhile but that Soviet piece reminded me of them. Edit: And Venetian Snares. My memory works slow :|

It's been awhile since I heard the Gorillaz. They had a few songs I liked.

Alternatively, a better fit would Ryan Gosling either driving around with a stoic expression on his face or gruesomely killing someone with same expression.
i have so many songs, but the one i'm enjoying right now is Mercy by Muse Because the trailers for batman arkham knight were fucking rad
I can never label any of my favourites because there's quite a selection of good music I like... so instead, I'll share 2 albums for your pleasure ^^

My musical choices are usually electronic / edm, with the second link containing some bass heavy and usually loud songs, just a precaution~

Mat Zo - Self Assemble

NOISIA - Outer Edges Remixes

Good Music.

It's more easy say that I dislike death metal and house.
