Nightmare fuel, maybe? Doesn't scream "disturbing" like some pics do, but I do think top-of-skull-removal might fit the bill...

Slime isn't always a healer, in the earlier games it's just a trash mob, and in the later games only a few of the species heal.

That specific variation of Slime is a healer though. At least, it is in DQ9. Any slime with tentacles spams healing spells, almost never attacks, and summons more Slimes.

It is in most DQ games, the more advanced species that aren't as weak as healers are different colors.
1
