So this is what Terra looks like in the comics
Well, there have been *three* Terras in the comics... This is how *one* of them looked like.

wait, isn't this the Terra that is an alien and has a shoujo-ai relationship with Power Girl?
Sure is. ^_^

The only Terra I know of in the comics is the sociopathic one as well as the one in the show
Putting on the comic book hat again. Just pointing out that the character that appeared on the show is actually meant to be that show's interpretation of the "sociopathic" one. None of the characters on the show really were exactly like the comic, but the show kind of took the concepts and went in its own direction. Which I think really worked in the show's case.
IIRC this is the third Terra. She had a self-titled miniseries and was a major supporting character in Power Girl's self-titled series, the Palmiotti and Gray one. I think that was back in like, 2007-2009? (God damn but time flies.)
I'd recommend those series, I've seen people often refer to the Palmiotti and Gray Power Girl as "the only time a Power Girl comic has actually been good." Which I wouldn't say is quite true. I really liked her arc in JSA Classified (which also did kinda involve some mind control). Although yeah, there have been very few comics with Power Girl that have been good for reasons outside of the obvious.
This is the best of the Terras, in my not so humble opinion, in part because she's only a sociopath when she has a mad scientist gorilla in her brain.
I love comics. They let me say crazy shit like that.
I vaguely remember once getting into an argument with an anon online over whether that counted as mind control or not. Seeing as how their brains were actually switched, I say not.
