thats because our brains are PHYSICALLY structured differently than neurotypicals, thus we react differently to everything. Plus, add ADHD (us with it cant concentrate well), and its almost impossible, and hard when trying to go with it.

Emma had not always been a slave, of course. Like many other students, she'd come to Mtech with a somewhat naive interest in the idea of mind control and a trusting friendliness that some might have described as too friendly when people were undressing for Arts class. Regardless, she made friends easily and became close with several other girls. She soon became one of the many people who didn't quite feel like she liked the 'enslave or be enslaved' philosophy MzNicolette had advanced, but she was far too extroverted and far too positive minded to run from human contact. She stayed positive and sociable. Perhaps in another universe, she would have run into Kat, become close friends, and become embroiled in the Defense Group's infamous activities. Had she had even a few more days to her overly sociable self, it may have been inevitable to run into Kat. However it was not to be, as her roommate was a girl of far greater ambition.
