...You mean Mezz HASN'T gotten her outfit from Edna Mode? I think that's asking for trouble all on it's own.

Well, I know it probably isn't canon (not that there's much), but I'm considering Mezmerella a mad scientist type. Creating all her own MC tech and armor through ingenuity, intellect and ill gotten gains.

You also have to consider that Edna was forced out of the game for 15 years and all her old research has probably found its way on the black market, not to mention that of any old school villain or her direct competitors.

Mezmerella has a cape. Edna Mode has a motto, "NO CAPES!!!!" Therefor, Mezmerella did not get her outfit from Edna Mode.
