Really though, an 11 MB, 3302x15166 comic is insane. If you shrink it by 1/3, it's still plenty readable (actually, it's easier to read at that size, since you won't need to scroll or mess with your browser's zoom) while being at a filesize that isn't ridiculous: 2 MB instead of 11. I don't think you're trying to have these printed, for images you view on the web a large resolution eventually becomes more of a hassle than anything else.
