Oh wonderful. I put in a shitload of time into a piece. and a whole dump of jimryu pics gets a higher score.

i don't hate him as a person, I just hate him as an "artist" and the community that eats up his work. It's the same feeling as when people just favor this and manips over stuff that genuinely look better and have had so much time put into them from pencil sketch to finished product. And i'm not talking about just my work. It's fine that people like this, but when a LARGE mass of people favor them over aforementioned hard work it becomes very disheartening and makes a lot of us just want to quit.

It's really a matter of opinion. Kind of like how I've seen many well-known anime reviewers on Youtube criticize Kill la Kill pretty harshly while I love the heck out of it.

And how people hate the new Fantastic Four and Batman VS Superman. The former was good in the first half. Nice build-up. It was the sudden time skip a year later that threw me off a little
