over a year agoSo after seeing DavyBoySmith's "Multiverse Hypno Harem" I was... inspired, let's say. I rather enjoyed the art style and concept of a "Hypno Harem" and thought "You know, I really like the girls of RWBY and the idea of having some of them in a harem... ah, to hell with it. Let's ask DavyBoySmith for Arabatos (The artists) contact information and see what we can do" so I contacted him and a new series was born!
So here's page one of what I'm calling "RWBY Universe H" (H for "Hypno" obviously). Now, to clarify; this takes place in an alternate RWBY timeline where Volume 3 hasn't happened and this is what happens in it's stead because I mean... I don't want to deal with all the annoyances within Volume 3 that could in any way cause issue with my harem of lovely women.
Either way, I have quite a few chapters set up for this. Each chapter will have about 7-10 pages has a different RWBY girl and there are 5 planned Chapters in total as of this time. Anyway, let me know what you guys think about this so far! I'm planning on releasing a new Page every two weeks, however I may have to bump it back to once a month for budgeting but for now, I'm aiming for once every two weeks... this said page two should be up within the week because I just got paid and the commissions will coincide with my being paid. However a good portion of my income also comes from doing gigs with my (rather small-time) band. So if an installment doesn't turn up, don't worry. It just means I likely didn't make enough gigging and had to skip a commission.
Thanks guys, and I'd appreciate any feedback. I may not choose to follow it, but even so, any questions, comments or whatever else's are welcomed!

over a year agoAnd with both myself and DavyBoySmith regularly commissioning him I'm sure he's happy too. Great turnaround on his art as well. He made this in a week. Pretty impressive since most artists I've commissioned before have taken up to a month to produce a single image.

I'm ASSUMING something came up while he was finishing it up because he does seem very punctual and expedient.

over a year agoArabatos just got back to me. He apparently uses an iPad or something similar when touching up and coloring his work. THAT is what broke, not his computer. However his english is not too great so him explaining it, he said his Pad was a "computer".
He said he just got it replaced and that the finished product WILL be here by the weekend.
That said, that means I'm 2 paychecks delayed. So barring any other unforseen circumstances that means page 2 is this weekend, 3 is next weekend, 4 is the following.

over a year agoAnd form my experience with Arabatos thus far I wont get the next page until late tonight. I'm expecting it in the next few hours. Honestly, though, at this point it's all up to Arabatos. I paid and commissioned, but the rest of the work is on him.
