Don't have to be though-destroying. I'm no expert, so take what I say here with a grain of salt. If an aroma can relax your mind in small doses, it would be dangerous in large doses. Some drugs can be used for medical reasons, like antidepressants, but they must then be taken in safe amounts. Some drugs exist in only one from, others in multiple.
Ok, let's say that you bought an aphrodisiac and used it on somebody, they may then be more interested sexual activities. Let's now say that you have bought an more powerful aphrodisiac, and you use it on the same person. The effect on the drug is now more powerful. Let's say you bought a large shipment of consentrated aphrodisiacs. With that you may be able too get the person you have targeted with the two last rounds addicted to the aphrodisiac. The person can also build an immunity to it, although that can take some time, and you must have started using an weak aphrodisiac, and way too slowly increased the doses. But if you just use the consentrated aphrodisiac constantly, you may slowly change the target. (This may also be possible with the weaker types, and I would advise to start with an weak aphrodisiac to begin with so that the target doesn't notice it, then slowly work with stronger substances.) Now are you not breaking someone's mind, you are making it easier to convince to do what you want. Also, the effect of the aphrodisiac can have an permanent effect on the target.
Too this point have you only gotten liquid aphrodisiacs, and you now want to try aphrodisiac in a gas from. You have seen it in so many games and movies, and you begin looking for it online. And then you realise that there may not really be an real gas form of any aphrodisiac that really exist.


And I totally didn't look up what actual aphrodisiacs do, and definitely didn't look up how to write aphrodisiac.
Btw, real aphrodisiacs have multiple different categories, and the one in the picture is an plant-based aphrodisiac. Oh, and too ruin aphrodisiacs for you all, they aren't really that powerful as pup-culture has lead us to believe. Just searching on the word "aphrodisiac" leads to a song, and looking up "aphrodisiac drug" came with Wikipedia (of course) and a lot of news articles asking if aphrodisiacs really is that dangerous.
Also, aphrodisiacs have historically been almost always aimed at men with medical conditions. With that information I guess that all of the aphrodisiac affecting women are thanks to pupculture. -_-
