So actually according to the artist there isn't any loss of free will when the succumbs bites the host. It does how ever link them to a hive mind and turn them super loyal to there queen. How ever there not yes men to her

the succubat lore is really cool. Every picture the artist makes is posted with some extra lore tidbits, and they also put more lore into replies to the comments.
