Well, we know daughter's hypno part is her ass, which makes it very easy to just turn around (which would make it easier to not be hypnotized as well), and hypnotize her mother. Though, I would think as it's a family thing, the family is immune the effects and can only hypnotize non-blood relatives and non relatives.

Well thinking about it I would wager that if it runs in the family the daughter looks to be green. She doesn't seem to have wanted to do this. The mother seems to not have any issue. So push came to shove the daughters inexperience would be a hindrance. There could also be the issue that mom does not like her power threatened so this has already been taken care of. After years of brainwashing the daughter doesn't even consider saying no to her mom. Of course there is the possibility of family are immune to each other like you mentioned. Most scenarios are not in her favor.

What I took from it is that the mother abuses her power a bit, so it might not even be the daughter is brainwashed not to say no, she's just outright afraid. Of course, it's just a picture that leaves backstory up to interpretation and I like dark stories sometimes. I can see it either way, and tbh both ideas are a bit dark. But that's just a theory, a Hub Theory
