A couple of questions here:
First, would this count as a lobotomy? There was extensive brain damage, sure, but it wasn't done surgically, nor was it explicitly stated that there was any frontal lobe damage. What do you guys define as a lobotomy?
Second, how do I make a pool? This is part of an ongoing series of sorts.

I'm not sure why I'm turned on by, I guess, guro at all- let alone only in the context of mind control. But jolly good work, lad.

Thanks! It's nice to not hear how fucked up whatever I made was.

I would say a lobotomy either needs to be surgical (I think most brain surgery that is hacking at the brain in some way would be lumped in with the lobotomy tag just because people who don't like lobotomy probably aren't going to like most "hack at/cut up the brain" surgeries), or at least very clearly be meant to be trying to remove or intentionally damage some part of the brain. Like if they tried to melt part of the brain on purpose. Or teleport it out. Or really just split the brain up without cutting it.

This is just... some very unfortunate collateral damage in a horribly botched attempt as screwing with the brain without causing (significant) damage. This feels like any other really botched attempt at mind erasure, except this just happened to destroy her mind in a more... visceral way.

Alright, thank you. Wasn't quite sure what the official Hub definition was.
Also, I find it a bit ironic that the definition for lobotomy here involves an intent to damage the brain, especially considering how the first recorded lobotomy was accidental. Nothing against the definition, I just find it funny.

That's not the hub's definition, that's just what I would think, knowing what a lobotomy is and knowing (well, assuming) what people wouldn't like because of it's similarity to a lobotomy. The Hub apparently has one on the lobotomy page (which is pretty quick, actually, considering this tag got made 2 or 3 days ago). The definition there is:
"Pictures where a character suffers irreversible brain damage via surgical means. The main form of mind control is brain surgery, usually including a scar in the image."

So, I wasn't far off with the one the definition I made really quickly (so, hey, I don't look like an idiot. Woo). My definition isn't perfect and may or may not really be what people want, but I think it's a fairly functional definition. The Lobotomy tag was made so people can avoid it, really (unless you're like me, in which case you plan to occasionally search it). Since the real horror comes from the "surgical" and "irreversible brain damage", that's why I came up with what I did. This isn't really "surgical" as it wasn't meant to make any major changes to the structure of the brain no are there any tools for cutting involved. Trying to make physical alterations or using cutty-stabby tools are kinda the stereotypical signs of a surgery. If you aren't going to make physical changes, it's not that "surgical" (if that makes any sense).
