I will never understand why stuff like this has just three black lines on a penis or vagina, as if it makes it totally not either of those

If Japanese censorship laws operated based on logic, they wouldn't exist.

Quite a few censorship stuff that I've seen on TV are of a similar degree to that. Like, i read earlier today that Walking Dead apparently had its first nude zombie...but it had a hole where the penis and balls would be, and it's funny because the show has graphic has hell violence, gore, and lots of adult stuff, but nudity? THAT'S WHERE WE HAVE TO DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND THERE!
Meanwhile, over in Germany, swears in cartoons for kids are a-plenty. Censorship laws in other countries are weird.
