so the main character (green hair) is actually part of a demon who was separated into four people and when they got toghether (the other guys plus the main char) the demon synchronizzed and possed them essentially tring to fuze them to have his body reborn and not only his mind.

Thats...actually disturbingly close to correct.

[spoiler]All four of them used to be one person, the best duelist to ever live. Who was eventually driven insane with bloodlust, and fused with his four Ace Monsters (they had technology that made the Monsters physically real) to become a god. After he was defeated, he split into four, which shattered reality into four different universes, and each of his pieces went into them. Over the course of the series they four eventually reunite and reform the original person, whose mind and persona take the place of the MCs.[/spoiler}
