I would say no. Personally, I consider MC/hypnosis to be when the subject has no control over their actions(basically mindless) and open to suggestion and being able to be controlled literally by somebody else. The manipulation that you describe is more so the common every day term "TV hypnosis".

I'd say yes, bimbofication is considered to be a sub-fetish of MC and there is psychology involved in making a person do things that they wouldn't want to do and that goes against their character (basically taking "mind control" literally).
Might be hard to get a consensus on the matter though.

I know the Wiki could use some house cleaning. Right now I'm working on organizing it by Genre, Medium, and type of scene. Do you have any other suggestions? I'd really appreciate them!

IMO the wiki should focus on TV series, movies and animated series first before starting to add manga. There are literally a few thousand doujinji with mind control content on exhentai alone, adding them would be for one pretty pointless (ex/eg-hentai has solid filters and well... you don't need screen caps for manga) and would spread out the effort of the contributors so much that the wiki gets nowhere.
We sorely lack a website which even remotely resembles a somewhat complete list of movies and animated series with MC content (the only thing we got besides lists hidden like needles in a haystack in various forum threads, is the MC movie database... which was last updated in what... 2001?), which is a shame considering how much mind control stuff is hidden away in movies we might never even have heard of. For that I very much respect the effort the people in this thread are putting into the wiki ;-).

I have been looking for a site that has EVERY movie and show that has hypnosis/MC in it. It's merely impossible to find and it definitely doe not exist(trust me, I tried). I wish there was a way to navigate a search to find EVERY example there is in the media. You are right, we will never be able to find all of them which is really saddening to me.... I've already stumbled onto some I really enjoyed and haven't been able to find again because I forgot the name of it and forgot to bookmark it :/
