Actually, it is quite common these days, depending on what you define as mind control. It's very subtle in some shows while rarely we get treated to a very good (and sexy) scene like in Cross Ange. Sunrise puts a lot of MC into their Anime, or they use Brainwashing, Amnesia and the like which all ends up being manipulation of the mind as well.

If you however seek scenes with Pendulums or Yen-coin swinging from side to side, they are very very rare.

Anything with mindless obedience and blank eyes work for me though. Pendulums and coins are just a bonus :p. Know of any scenes you've stumbled upon lately like this?

Cross Ange 20 continues with some sensitivity mind/body control/break in 2 scenes (one around the 8 minute mark and one around 17:30). Sadly censoring kind of makes the second scene less sexy than it should be.

Log Horizon Season 2 Episode 21 got a short scene, a npc using a mind control love spell.

The NPC used it three times over the whole episode and I think it will continue more forcefully in the next episode as well. ;)

Holy moley!

People! People! If you are not watching Cross Ange, do it NOW! Watch it all from the start. Because the MC has been heating up over the last couple episodes (as I've shown) and the mind-rape train just keeps on rollin' in the newest episode (21).

The Familiar of Zero has a few moments. At the end of episode 8, a character (hypnohub.net/post?tags=lo...e_le_blanc_de_la_valliere ) mistakenly drinks a love potion intended for someone else, and the comedy this causes begins in episode 9. Episode 11 introduces a mind control ring, which is used on the same character from above at about the 15 minute mark. Immediatley after that scene, the ring is used to attempt to force her to marry someone, although I'd recommend closing the scene at the 16:40 mark, as the control fails and the plot advances into spoiler territory.

There was one minor MC scene in Cross Ange again this week, but it was unremarkable so I didn't save any pics.

A few episodes ago, there was an MC scene in Yuri Kuma Arashi. The newest episode expands upon the results of that MC. Spoilers, obviously: imgur.com/a/4fhyg
