Your name is Emilia Walters, and you are a new student at Arlingwood Reserve University, a highly prestigious institution whose attendance is limited to the smart and rich or the extremely smart who can get in on the rare merit scholarships. The campus is located next to one of the largest forests in the country, within which an elven settlement is rumored to exist. The classes offered run the gamut of topics, from artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to magic energy crystallization and astral condensation.

You have light blonde hair that trails down your back, accompanied by a pair of piercing gray eyes. Your face is quite pretty, not amazingly stunning, but you do draw some glances wherever you go. Your figure is athletic, with toned muscles from your martial arts training, and your perky C-cup breasts stand out nicely under your well-fitted uniform.

The students here seem organized and proper, with only a few exceptions. They are among the best of the best, after all. Several have already caught your eye, and you're looking forward to starting your classes so you can get to know them better. As you walk through the gate, you're pushed aside by a tall man dressed in a severe-looking suit and sunglasses. You're about to protest when you notice a girl on his other side dressed in the same uniform you and the other students are wearing, though her jewelry is clearly on another level.

She's very pretty, and will no doubt be a hit among the male students, but she has an unapproachable air, and doesn't even cast so much as a glance in the direction of anyone else.

Seeing you looking at his charge, the bodyguard grunts at you.

"Beat it."

"And what if I don't want to?"

"Then I'll have to beat you."

"I'd like to see you try," you say, grinning.

Before the confrontation can come to blows, the girl starts to leave. Her bodyguard follows her, leaving you standing there slightly miffed at your treatment. Whatever. You have more important things to do, like get to your first class.

Your first lecture, for your calculus class, is in a fairly small room for such a class. You expected it to be in a larger room, though you do suppose the number of students at the university is pretty low. There are about thirty chairs set in five neat rows, and about fifteen of them are occupied. The students are clustered in several groups and pairs, waiting for the professor to arrive.

Near the first row by the door is an energetic group of six athletic-looking girls. From their thoughts, you can tell that they're planning on joining the swimming team between classes. You pan your gaze across the rest of the room, but don't see anyone else of interest, save for a girl with short black hair and glasses sitting alone in the corner of the room, face partially hidden behind a book.

You take a seat between the noisy swimmers and the isolated girl and stretch. It's been quite the day getting ready for university, and you're looking forward to seeing how your professors are.

Before we begin in earnest, we have one last thing to do, which is to allocate bonus points.

We have three bonus points, which we can spend on the items listed in the prompt.
However, I think I will restrict spending points on trait points, as I believe we have a good set of traits right now.

Otherwise, feel free to spend them however you like, but follow the restriction of one on CP.

1 bonus point to make the Kitsune rival a member of the posse.
1 bonus point to give 2 posse members hypnofetishes and submissive tendencies (teacher, wallflower)
1 bonus point for one extra CP to be placed in technology (subliminal messages)

I almost want to spend 3 points on the making a Rival a slave. Buuuuut

1 Point for posse members having a hypnofetish (Heiress, Ghost) [I want to focus on Ghost because that's some good ole' possession which works excellently for us.]
1 Point to CP Bonus and that's towards Psionics - Emotional Whammy [Sounds useful so why not]
EDIT: On second thought reducing the danger of the Genie seems more important considering the whole 3 wishes thing. Soooo...
1 Bonus Point to Reduce the Danger of the Genie and make her Hyper-Suggestible.

1 Bonus Point to Reduce the Danger of the Genie and make her Hyper-Suggestible. (Magic is such a pain in these kinds of stories)

1 Point to Give Posse members a Hypnofetish (Amazon/Ghost) (Heiress is a CLOSE third choice, but just falls short)

1 Point for a Bonus CP, and Add it into Emotional Whammy. Level two of that skill seems REALLY useful.

1 CP to make Kitsune member of Posse (More kitties and puppies (foxes are dogs, right?) on our side the better...)
The second one from Mindwipe, but the Wallflower and Catgirl.
The first one from Lucina.

The class find their seats quickly once the professor walks in and stands behind the lectern. She's a young-looking woman, probably in her early thirties. Her soft brown hair flows down to her shoulders and complements her hazel eyes nicely. She has a pair of rectangular glasses resting on the bridge of her nose, which she pushes up with a finger before she begins speaking.

"Hello, everyone, and welcome to Calculus. I hope that you all have read the syllabus that was sent to your message boxes last week. I will be going over it this lecture, so please have it ready."

The sound of rustling clothes and bags fills the room for a few seconds as everyone fishes out their personal interface devices. For those who cannot afford implants or take issue to having devices inserted into their brains, these devices are the preferred way to connect to the global information networks. Yours is a simple black slate with a touchscreen to control it. You pull the cable from the bottom and plug it into the interface port on the back of your neck. Your view tints blue as the device connects you to the virtual world, and from there it merely takes a thought to bring up the class syllabus.

Your teacher's eyes flicker back and forth while she waits for the class to get their materials ready. She's probably perusing her lecture notes, but you find yourself focusing on her features. Her face is attractive, in a scholarly sort of way, and her body isn't half bad, from what you saw of her while she crossed the room. She's wearing proper clothes, but they're a bit tight around her chest, giving her an undeniably sexy look as she returns her attention to the class.

"Now, you'll see that my office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from three o'clock to four o'clock. We don't have a TA for this class, so if you need help, please come to me. If you cannot make my office hours, please let me know so we can set up an appointment."

Ooh, now that sounds like a good idea. The rest of the lecture passes without incident, as the professor goes through the rest of the syllabus. Textbooks, grade delineations, etc. etc. You get bored and look around the rest of the class. Two of the swimming girls are paying close attention, while the other four seem to be distracted, just like you.

As you look off to your left, you notice a strange girl you hadn't seen when you walked in. She looks mostly normal, and is wearing the same uniform as the rest of the students, but she's somewhat transparent. You can see someone else through her. She has a slightly melancholic expression on her face as she listens to your professor speaking.

Maybe she's a ghost? You've heard stories of them, but they're rare. No one else seems to have noticed her, though. There's even someone sitting two rows behind her staring straight through her head. She's kind of cute, in a normal sort of way.

As the professor makes her closing remarks, everyone puts their interfaces away and packs up their bags. The professor bows slightly and leaves, giving you a good look at her long legs, sheathed in dark stockings. Very businesslike.

As the rest of the class gets up and starts filing out of the room, you see the ghost girl still sitting there at her desk, seemingly reminiscing about something. The shy-looking girl who was sitting behind you passes in front of you.

What do you do?

1: Follow your professor and try to get close to her
2: See what the swimmer girls are doing
3: Talk to the shy girl
4: Talk to the ghost
5: Go outside and see who you can find

Talk to the ghost

Also uh, on fear of being complaining or difficult I changed my prior vote for Kitsune rival in the posse to a weaker Genie. By my count of Kitsune votes 2 and weaker Genie votes 3.

I'm really torn on this, but I guess talking to the ghost makes the most sense at this point.

You wait until you hear the door click shut behind the last students to leave the room. The ghost girl is still sitting in her seat, and you see in her mind that she is reminiscing about when she used to attend class in this very room, with a happy smile on her face.

You get up out of your chair and cross between the row of desks separating you from her and come up beside her. She doesn't seem to notice that you're still in the room until you speak up.

"Hey there."

She screams and jumps out of her seat. Literally. She ends up floating several feet off the ground, looking at you with a panicked expression on her face.

"A-ah, y-you can see me?"

"Uh-huh. What's with that reaction? It's not like I'm a monster or anything."

"S-sorry. No one else here can see me, and I don't want to get sent on. I like being here."

"Were you a student here?" You ask, pointing at her uniform.

"Mhm. I managed to pass the entrance exams, but I had always been frail and sickly. The doctors couldn't figure out what it was. I died in my sleep during my first semester."

The ghost's eyes are downcast, clearly melancholy over her short time here. You try to cheer her up a bit.

"Why don't you follow me around today? You can come to my classes and talk with me in between."

Her eyes brighten at that, and her face lights up in excitement.

"Can I?"

"Of course. I'd feel bad if I left you all alone now. My name's Emilia, by the way. What's yours?"

"My name's Nikki. I like your name, Emilia. It sounds very proper."

"Thanks. I like your name, too. It fits you well."

"You think so? My dad wanted to give me a more classy name, but my mom wanted to keep it simple," Nikki says, smiling fondly at the memory of her parents.

"So, when's your next class? I had long breaks between mine."

"Two o'clock. It's in the building next to the physics lab." It's only eleven in the morning, so you have about three hours to do whatever you want.

"Ooh, that's a nice place. The lab used to be on the other side of campus, though. They built the new one there a few years after I died."

"How long has it been since you were a student here?"

Nikki pouts at that question.

"I'm still a student here, you know," she says, pointing at her uniform. "But if you're asking when I died, it would be about forty years ago."

The two of you find your way out of the building and into one of the courtyards separating the scattered campus buildings. Several trees dot the central area, surrounding a small fountain. You take a seat beneath the largest tree, while Nikki floats next to you.

"I remember this tree. It was so small back when I arrived. Now it's finally big enough to sit under," she remarks wistfully, staring up through the boughs at the sky.

You wave your hand through her experimentally. She doesn't seem to notice until she looks back at you.

"Hey! What are you doing?" She protests, shifting herself a couple of feet away from you.

"Since I can see you, I wanted to know if I could touch you."

"Ask first! I might be a ghost, but it's still rude to touch someone out of the blue like that."

"But I didn't touch you."

"Don't put your hand in me!" Nikki cries, blushing.

You decide not to make the situation worse by pointing out the innuendo, and Nikki calms down after a few more seconds of being flustered.

"Anyway, it's kind of weird that after so long, you're the first person who's ever been able to see me. Is there something weird about you?"

"I don't know. I might be kind of special," you say, taking a peek through Nikki's mind. She's genuinely curious, and besides you, she hasn't found anyone who's even aware of her existence. Most everyone else has been interested in you for experimentation, so you've kept your abilities secret, but Nikki seems trustworthy.

"Eh? How so?" Nikki asks, tilting her head. Her hair shifts cutely, despite the rest of her apparently being weightless.

"Well, it seems that I've got some mental powers. I can read minds and stuff, and lift things without touching them. Things like that. I can probably mess with people's heads, too, but I've never tried."

Nikki's eyes widen in surprise.

"Ehhhh? That's amazing! I remember reading articles about psychic ability back when I was alive. Everyone agreed that the human brain wasn't built to be able to project mental power. How can you do it?"

"I don't know. I just can. I've never told anyone since I could tell they would just lock me up for it."

"I can understand that. I never got to go out because the doctors said that I wasn't healthy enough," Nikki says with a wry smile.

"Mmm." You can see her memories of being in bed while looking out the window longingly.

Nikki turns back to you with a strange look on her face.

"You said you might be able to mess with people's heads, though. Is that really possible?"

"Probably. Why do you ask?"

"N-no reason. Just forget about it," she replies, turning away. You can see in her head that she wants you to try it on her, though.

"Are you feeling curious, Nikki?"

"N-no! It's just...back when I was alive, we had a hypnotist come in to see if they could do anything about my pain. It felt so nice when I was under...nothing mattered, and everything stopped hurting. I liked it so much, but my parents got worried about me being under someone else's control, so they stopped the treatment. I hated them for it, but it was for my own good, so I couldn't say anything..."

"How tragic."

"Mhm. I always wanted to feel that way again, but you know..."

"Well, I might be able to help you with that."

"Really? I mean, I shouldn't let someone I just met do that to me, but..."

You reach out toward her and try to impress upon her that you're trustworthy. Her mind rebounds a little against you, but it only takes a second before your idea seems to click into place.

"I guess I can trust you. You told me about your ability, anyway," Nikki says, coming a little closer. "Just...be gentle, okay?"

"Of course," you reassure her as she settles in close to your shoulder, waiting for you to do something.

Hmmm. That's tough.

1. By putting her under, you can still create the situation for 2, and have more possibilities.

So, my choice is option 1.
