Technically, couldn't every video game with playable characters/factions have mind control? The playable characters are always unknowingly under the complete control of an unknown entity (the player). I've yet to see a game where any character under the player's influence disobeyed a command from the player (other than lester the unlikely), even if it knowingly goes against their best interests. I mean, how else could you explain a relatively sane character nonchalantly waltz off a cliff to their doom, without even the slightest thought otherwise? Or tons of defenceless Peasants knowingly running to their demise by a orcish horde in a game of Warcraft, simply because they were commanded to?

Would you kindly consider the interactive cutscenes? Wouldn't those count as disobeying the players. Plus there are a few games that mess with the controls as a sort of status effect.
Though it was an interesting point if you ask me.

Can you give an example of an interactive cutscene? I'm assuming, based upon my current interpretation, that because they are interactive, the player still has a degree of control over them, thus a level of 'mind control' still exists.

God dangit, now I have to serve him. Hopefully, he doesn't make use of this apparent servitude.

Sweet. Or sweets as the case may be. Lots and lots of sweets. >:D
The Serious Sam series has a few "Mind-controlled" enemies, I have a not so PG description of the enemies in the spoiler tag below:
[spoiler] The group of enemies that first come to mind are the "beheaded", the in-game bestiary for the beheaded rocketeer states:
The Rocketeer is an executed Sirian soldier, raised from the dead by Mental, and controlled with a "Life Control Unit" (LCU). A Rocketeer is equipped with a magic missile launcher in one hand, and holds its head in the other, which is used to obtain visual and sound data. In Serious Sam HD, the Rocketeer has a saw on his neck -used for melee combat- , holds the launcher with its left hand and its head with the right.

Pretty much every single Warhammer 40k game out there has mind control and/or corruption in it. Those things are a given as soon as the forces of chaos pop up. Only exceptions being Dawn of War 2 Vanilla (both the Expansions got Chaos on the other hand) and Space Hulk because they feature the Tyranids as the main opponents..
The 40k universe has bucket loads of MC/corruption content anyway. The whole chaos gods, demons and their followers are pretty much a huge corruption/brainwash community and one of the four Chaos gods, Slaanesh, the god of lust/sex/perversion/drugs/rock n'roll is especially good doing that. Hell, half of the Space Marines are corrupted and loyal servants of Chaos.

I always found that strange: The genestealers are especially adept at hypnotizing others with their eyes (according to the wiki), they should be able to hypnotize a space marine albeit with difficulty. But I guess that has more to do with the age of the game than anything else.

I'm not into the whole lore of Pokemon, but I feel there is some serious MC stuff going on behind the scenes (particularly those pokeballs). Seriously, one moment this wild pokemon is trying to kill you, throw a pokeball at it, and BAM! It will follow your every command, not to mention you can erase/add/replace what they know.

There was a Pokemon crossover comic where Brock explained how that works to Demona from Gargoyles while fucking Felicia from Darkstalkers.
