Assume you have been repeatedly hypnotized, brainwashed, and conditioned into complete obedience to someone to whom you are close. Would you rather that person use their control over you to make you:

1. Constantly volunteer to serve others, like doing chores for elderly and invalid people, serving meals to people who cannot prepare their own, working in soup kitchens, etc. When appropriate, you would also obey any commands, including sexual ones, from the people you serve, with the caveat that you will protect your own physical health.

2. Constantly serve the one who is controlling you; doing all their housework, cooking their meals, doing any home repairs you can, etc. Of course, you would also obey sexual commands.

This is a tricky one, but in the grand scheme of things, I'd prefer option 1. The type of person who would put their brainwashed slave to work doing benign community favors, is the sort of owner I would most want to take control of me. I love love love the whole concept of a benevolent dictator: Someone who asserts absolute power, but has the maturity to be responsible with it. It conjures the image of someone who's deeply secure and confident in themselves and their own authority.
