I'd say that's more of a stylistic thing than anything. Smoother lines are usually better, but heavily aliased lines like this can look ok. It's more important to look at anatomy and all that other stuff.

What can I say? Subjective matters are hard to quantify.

Anyway, this kind of reminds me of some of <<hypnohub.net/post?tags=brokenteapot|brokenteapot's>> old stuff, whom's...lesser works basically amount to our site's standards. I think these are at least on par with them, so I think they're fine.

My only concern is the jaggedness of the outlines (which is a fairly common problem in Paint images). If the lines were smoother, this image would be all the better. But I don't think it's bad enough to warrant bringing it to the QCC or anything like that.
