I've just published an update to my erotic VN with lots of MC in it : D
I hope you'll like it !

The story is that you play as Leto, a paranormal field agent who's sent to a gigantic ship that's dissapeared for years before being found sailing again.

For now we play as the sub in the hypno scenes, and that will be the case in a lot of them. But that might just change in the future, should Leto stray off of the path of humanity..

Mind control's of the hypnosong kind(sirens and all), the plan is to add more creatures with different powers, and even a sort of corruption path.
Through, I might say this now : the mind control in this game is consensual. Leto's a very kinky girl who's out there having the time of her life really.

Thanks for actually including builds for systems that aren't Windows.
But I also have some questions.
First off, if I might ask, why are you using Godot instead of a more dedicated VN engine like renpy?
Second off, could you maybe make an itch.io page for this project? I feel like that would make it look less, well, sketchy than just mega links and should allow a pay-what-you-want option.

I'm curious about this as well. Do you anticipate there being significant interactive gameplay? I've seen some visual novels built in Unity, but that's mostly because Unity has plugins like Naninovel. I'm not aware if Godot has something similar.

Also, could you consider uploading a few screenshots?

The answer's a bit weird, but basically I wanted to learn more about game dev, and for that I need to code the features myself rather than relying too much on the engine. I'm using the Dialogic plugin through, which is really great ! But the rest is coded by hand.
It's more difficult, but I'm learning a lot more and I get the freedom to define things and features.
For now I don't have plans for more interactive gameplay, at least not for this project.
Maybe if I get ideas later ?



That's fair, with the number of bots here it didn't hit me until I posted that this looks weird hahaha
My fear with itch.io is that with the suggestion page, won't it shove the game on people who don't want to see it ? I know steam has that problem a lot.
I might not do an itch.io page right away, but I'll see about uploading some screenshots !

(also for the pay what you want, my plan is to put the game out there for free and have a patreon/subscribestar up, so I wonder if having a pay what you want on top of that wouldn't be a little much ? btw subscribestar just approved my page so yay)

Very valid reason to use a more general engine and glad you'd pick Godot. Good luck on your journey.
Itch generally has a pretty good recommendation system, so unless the game takes off, it shouldn't be shoved in front of too many people not into it. Also, by default, NSFW games are filtered out of searches unless specifically opted in by the searching user.
I think pay-what-you-want would be a reasonable option, basically having it be free, but giving people a clear and relatively convenient way to toss a few cents without going through an extra middleman or monthly subscriptions.

...Is there somewhere else I can download this? MEGA wants me to either wait 2 hours or give them money...

I do have many fun things planned for the future :D

Through I have a question : What did you think of the intro ? I'm in the middle making some changes because of the old art, so it'd be interesting to have another perspective on it :
Basically I plan to expand the dream into more of a sex scene with some hypno and remove the masturbation scene in the intro entirely. So the chronology goes : dream -> Leto intro -> sleep and rest of the game.
Would make the intro a little shorter, but maybe I'm a bit blind to weither of not the masturbation scene is any good with so much time spent working on it.

Whispers of the Sirens V0.2.1 is now fully public !

I've updated the links in the first post. You can also find them on a public post visible on patreon, subscribestar, or the itch.io page.

In short, this adds : A new segment of the story, and a new muscular and adorable siren named June. Her powers involve less voice than the others of her kind but a lot more pheromones.
There's also some notable new features and qualiy of life changes :
- Fast travel button
- Gallery, accessible through a new room in Leto's bedroom, or lab, or-well you got the gist of it.
- Change of some elements, most notably Leto's hypnotized sprite and the chatlog in the intro.
- other fixes and qol changes.

GOD ALMIGHTY WHAT A GIFT

I loved all the little changes, and still love the scenes (Seraphine's 3rd scene is just purest perfection. I can't wait for what's to come.)

I didn't find myself using the fast travel button, and...kinda forgot that was a change? Navigating the halls feels like it's a part of the experience anyhow, so I don't mind. Handy to have though! The log could probably use a scroll wheel of some sort. With June in the mix, now there's enough log entries that one gets obscured and you can't see it. (...do the arrows scroll on that menu? I didn't try it.)

Speaking of June, HOLY SCHMOLY. MORE OF HER PLEASE????? I mean Seraphine was hitting some bases but here comes Muscle Leopard Seal Siren Babe with the mf GRAND SLAM!!

Lastly... yeah when The Eye of Sauron shows up in your dreams, start worrying.
