I don't mind divulging a bit of the plot here. It's a parody of CypressZ's game Overwhored, a parody of another game called Overlord. My game is called UnderPured and follows the story of a young man newly appointed as an oracle. An oracle selects heroes from all over the world to defeat the demon lord. The young man has the power of purification, through which most mind control in the game is done. He is a prodigy at purification magic and can conquer even demon generals with his magic.
No offense, but you probably shouldn't be purposefully making a parody of a parody of a parody (as Overlord itself is a very tongue-in-cheek generic fantasy). Or, at least that makes for a really poor elevator pitch imo.
Seems a bit odd that mind control is done through something called 'purification', unless the idea is it "cleanses" the target's mind of thoughts or something. Maybe it's just me reading into things a little much, but it says a lot about a populace giving something that disturbing such a pleasant name.
Minutia aside, what's the tone? As in, full on wacky comedy or a mostly serious drama, how hard (or deep) do you intend to go in on the MC elements, how large of a primary cast or story are you planning?
