How to represent hypnosis in a faceless character?
I was wanting to commission a drawing of the Princess from the Princess Society creepypasta and I had this doubt. Any suggestions?

Limpness would be my first thought. Hanging arms, slouched posture, unsteady stance, like she is about to fall over.

A couple of options exist if you look at the visual language of comics.

If a character has a pair of crossed horizontal rings on their head and floating circles: this can indicate dizziness, dazed, or hypnotized.

Look also to how superhero comic visually represent telepathy. You could do waves surrounding the head. You could do concentric rings centered on the forehead.

Turns out there's a "faceless" tag on here! In most cases, it looks like the facelessness is itself an indication of mind control, usually mindlessness and personality removal. If this character is already faceless, I think you'll have to make the posture do the work for you. Standing at attention, zombie walk, or leaning towards the source of hypnosis could all work, depending on what you want to indicate.

I did find this pic, where a slumped posture and some sparkly effects do a good job indicating what's going on. hypnohub.net/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=216399

Who? [looks it up] Okay.

You could always accessorize, depending on how set you are on the method being used. A character born from code like yours could easily be depicted with error messages or adjustable personality sliders. Anonymind already brought up visual metaphors and shorthand like dazed bubbles and spiral motifs around/behind the head. If she was corporeal, you could say it was a chip implant or helmet/headband doing it and lean into that. Best of all, there's always wardrobe! Plenty of recurring outfits from just this site that already serve as shorthand for being mentally dominated.
