Sure!
Do not have high expectations. Not all canned orders are going to work on everyone, no matter how well made they are. You are a person, not a nugget, it's not reasonable to expect a file made for Whoever will be able to manipulate you. Eventually you will stumble into some that can and be pleasantly surprised.
If the intended effect does not work, use it for the fantasy! It will keep you interested, engaged, and open-minded.
You are of course free to try anything, but take your time to look for the good ones! And keep up with the times. Way back when Warp My Mind was the best place for this, EMG and Sarnoga and so on were the "good ones", but they don't take good advantage of the medium. They cut their teeth on on personal-style sessions. It's a good skill, just not for this.
They are eclipsed these days by the creators who grew up on the internet and know how to hook a larger audience.
Help yourself to help them take you under. You want to be alone, in a dark room, and either quiet, or predictable droning noise. Tune out as much of the world as you can. Later, once once you got hooked on something and the triggers work on you, you can ignore this.
This one only matters if you're a fighter: Once you notice something works, don't try to wiggle out of it just to see if you can. It's an audio file, it won't be impressed. Don't waste all that time going under, and your chance at having a good time, for a fleeting power high over a lifeless object. Falling for it is way more fun than "winning".
Finally, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. If B*mbi Sleep and other such addiction-promoting files work on you, Take Breaks. There are enough people who got their brain melted as it is, they are not riveting company.
Oooh this is all super helpful; thank you! I've read up on some that say something along the lines of "don't partake in this if you don't think you can keep yourself safe afterward" and I'm not really sure what that would mean?
