mochi mayhem and pecharunt are now 2 years old as of today! i am celebrating by replaying the mochi mayhem event and scrolling through twitter to see all the new art! i also originally wanted to start posting the mochi dance work of ganbari mascarpone but as of right now it’s only on their twitter and i wanna wait to have it all from their pixiv for better quality!

i wanted to briefly discuss this new recent mochi/pecharunt craze! it was recently had a whole anime episode and is now a sync pair in pokemon masters with carmine!

i’m gonna to sour the mood a bit to start though because i’ll start with the masters event, cause it was pretty disappointing for me at least and maybe other mochi fans! it had fun moments though i liked akaris inclusion, it was funny seeing her so insulted at the idea of mochi or any kind being used for evil! sawyer being controlled was pretty funny and also mirrors when he was being controlled by calyrex in one of the christmas events, it’s like “if i had a nickel for everytime a legendary pokemon controlled me to do it’s bidding id have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but weird that it’s happened twice!” with that said though it really sucked having so little to come out of it! the best thing was the carmine sync pair with pecharunt! the devs seem to have toned back from what made the mochi mayhem event so fun in the first place! the comedic horror and fun scale of a zombie apocalypse! now i personally believe that this maybe because they are aware of its fetish-y nature and they wanted to tone it down. complete conspiracy theory on my part really, at the same time i really can see them not really caring! i am going end this segment off with coping for another pecharunt sync pair with a more proper mochi mayhem event! i personally think it would make for a fun halloween event! if solgaleo can have like 5 sync pairs then pecharunt can at least have 2!

where masters fails the anime succeeds! i loved the episode, only real complaint it that the mochi dance scenes were maybe a little short! that does not undo it’s impact though, loved seeing the entire crew get taken over by pecharunt! having orlas scene and mollies scene back to back was so good and of course likos scene was really nice! honestly don’t have much to say other than i loved it, it captured the original mochi mayhems vibe perfectly!

as you can tell mochi mayhem is one of my favorite things! pecharunt is my favorite pokemon and everything about it just hits me the right way! i know it’s not for everyone, for me it combines humor and fetish in a perfect way but i get if it’s not your cup of tea! it’s what got me posting in the hub after being a long time lurker, that enough is special for me! this specific resurgence will probably end soon and i don’t think it’s as impactful as the first time around, so i’ll soon be on the lookout for other stuff out there! thanks for reading and feel free to share your thoughts too! or not i’m ok with screaming at a black
