Please take care uploading Drevod images.
A request more for the veteran members, and the staff if they have the time for this sort of thing.

Uploads of images from the artist Drevod are done poorly more often than not.

In part, Drevod is popular, and people who do not usually upload eagerly push the first image they can find onto the site. In part, Drevod uploads previews first, and the full version sometime later, meaning even people who put in the effort are going to miss the mark sometimes.

I'm correcting this as fast as I can when I spot it, but I can't be here 24/7, and it's really frustrating to see images with hundreds of upvotes and favorites go Poof.

When you see a Drevod upload, please take the time to check if the size is relatively small(Drevod's full images can cross into seven thousand pixels on the long side).

If the source is twitter(which truncates images above 4096 pixels on either side), check the date and his pixiv, the full version may or may not appear there after a few days.

I realize this sort of vigilance is a big ask, but it would also be a big help for me.

Just out of curiosity, is there an ideal size for image uploads?

Ideal? Hm.

Funny way to put it.

The rule is we upload the best freely available resolution (that wasn't upscaled), linking its original source.

I'd like to speculate what the Ideal image size might be, but someone reading this would just get confused, so let's say it's that.

Understood. I just wanted to make sure my heavy-handed attempts at digital art weren't messing thing up because of the file size.
