Ok so, I've done a lot of thinking, and I'd really like to make more comics like Lamia Lady. I was hoping I could kind of do what Sleepymaid is doing and make short comics, put them up for sale for say, a month, then just release them for free.

I'd need a site to put them up for sale. I was thinking of Ribbon, though I'd like a little feedback on that since Sleepy seems to be having trouble them. If anyone knows any other sites that I'd be able to sell on I'd love to hear them! Or maybe just some kind of payment method? Anything really.

Mostly I'd just like to know if anyone would be interested in buying them. If so I'd be able to draw comics all the time~ And I feel like comics are something we need more of here...

I'd certainly buy them. Not sure how to go about selling them, though... there was a website I can't remember the name of that Sleepy used to sell her original Squid Ops comics, but it was kind of a pain actually purchasing stuff there. So... *shrugs*

I love this business model. I wonder if Ribbon is friendly though, I've read their terms and it prohibits "obscene material".

I think I'm going to do like a test run with Ribbon. So that I can see what's up. If things don't work out then at least the community will have another comic. I'm wondering what exactly counts as obscene material because it says "obscene material and child pornography" which... seems like obscene material would cover child pornography... so maybe obscene material is talking about the reeeealy hardcore stuff? although I guess some of the stuff I draw could probably fall under that category... like I said test run!

I guess i can live without new stuff for a month...
