Like LillyTank a few posts above here, I got some refused images as "Generic AI Art".
I uploaded them on that other site, so you can see for yourself (warning: explicit)

Now is that "Generic AI Art"? Maybe, I guess.

But I don't really see how different it is form what I can see right now under the "ai_art" tag here. For instance in the first two pages we have those.

I'm not really seeing how my images are more generic or of worse quality.

Don't get me wrong, I can totally understand you not liking/not wanting to be flooded by AI art. But I think the rules need some clarifications because right know what gets accepted and refused feels kinda random.

Last night a friend of mine tried to access the site and got hit with “Access Restricted” page. Now let me be clear, he’s not banned or anything, it’s a page demanding ID/Age verification. I’ve never see this and I never heard of anyone seeing this. He lives in Kansas and apparently they passed a law requiring identification verification for adult sites. Yes it’s stupid but my friend is distraught because HH is like a second home to him. Now if there’s anything anyone can tell me about this like how to actually DO that verification or how to get around it please let me know.

So, straight to it: I had this idea to introduce two of my OCs via a comic, and I wanted to make them enter a sort of "portal to another world" with the logo\front page of Hypnohub blurred but visible on the other side.

Is there any particular rules\ban on making such kind of fan art? I'll always credit the website when uploading the final output to other media such as X and Reddit.

since that thread has been Mysteriously Closed™️ right after the admin replied to it, I'd like them to know that this change is bad and should be reverted

I'm not a mod or an admin but there is no mystery. Someone asked a question and it was answered. The link is basically an ad.

Well, the thread was more, basically everyone IN that thread being EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE with it. Everyone knew what it WAS. I'm a little preterbed by the response being "shut up everyone does it".

I'm amenable to the necessity of moving advertisers and dealing with the heat that comes with it. Times are hard, every small site struggles with this now and then. He gotta do what he gotta do.

My problem with that post is Everything Else In It. o - o

Basic Functions of the site Do Not Work. The only support option besides the adverts the site runs and the rule34 shirt(???) is, far as I can tell, buried in the small text of the settings. Most people probably have no idea the option even exists.


The dude is off the grid for over a year, cannot be relied on for so much as basic maintenance, unleashes new ads with a hive of malware inside them without warning anyone, walks into the forum, outright says 'yeah I did that', no remorse whatsoever, and locks the thread flipping everyone off.

And it's the people who block the ads who are the problem?! When there are viruses in the ones he runs, and he makes no effort to let visitors know we can pay him on a patreon he hadn't touched for Six Years? So that he may deign to keep the lights on for his broken ass website?

My read of the thread was that people were concerned with what it could have been (malware) and when it was shown to be just an ad, there really wasn't much more to talk about. We have other places where we rant about AI or whatever else.

My view on slayerduck's response is probably going to differ than most because I'm old enough to have been around when message boards were commonplace and I don't feel like it's worth expanding on that thought further. The response was pretty rote and non-judgmental imo, and what it really did was make me think about how advertising works on other media and how the web probably got it all wrong.

It also doesn't work. I didn't use adblock on HHub before. Now I Gotta because a misclick is gonna stuff my computer with BS.

Internet savvy visitors will react the same way, and the rest are about to sign up for a botnet.

Man I came into this thread just looking for a name change and came across drama I wasn't even aware of. There's problems with the ads? I haven't noticed anything yet.

Uhm, as for my originally intended request, can I just have my username changed to MalcomGranger or something? My current username has some... attachments I'd rather kids not find out about that I hadn't thought about when I originally signed up.

Even the edits don't work, this site's software is not doing too hot.
Anyways, my bad I just realized what that was in reference to. I rarely look up there(rarely log in to begin with) so that's unsurprising. Personal opinion? The easiest solution if you can't get rid of it is to just float: right; it, so that it doesn't look like it's apart of the rest of the links.

We have no way of offering account name changes. If you want a different name, remove whatever email you have linked to this account and just create a new one.
