I understand that anyone can become a herald of Galactus if he choses you and you submit to his power. But since Surfers tend to defy him why not take away their free will.

I know nothing of F4 lore but I immediately thought of infectious corruption when I saw the female silver surfer. That she'd have like a energy blast or simply touching another person and they turn into a silver surfer too.
