there's no sound, and it's the same motion endlessly. it'd be better to make it a gif instead of a video.

@hammer I think it's fine as a video. after all, it's easy enough for anyone to turn a video into a GIF. this way, it acts as a good "source piece", so that anyone who wants to do something to it, i.e. adding sound or converting filetypes, could snag it here and do that-

I personally just prefer using a video for animations like this, since they have way better quality at a lower filesize. And yeah, like Baka21 said, it can be a good "source piece", as someone could just easily convert it into a perfectly looping gif with just the first 2 seconds, if they wanted to.

On some devices, there may be a slight stutter when looping a video and it also saves the user having to select "loop", if they even have the option at all. (This is all assuming the video is downloaded and viewed somewhere else ofc).

I never thought of it as a big deal tbh, I just couldn't really see the downsides of this approach.
