Also known as Dr. Yukinari Ohkido (γͺγΌγγγ»γ¦γγγͺε士) in Japanese, Professor Samuel Oak is a character introduced in Pokemon_Red_Green_Blue_and_Yellow.
He is the Pokémon Professor of the Kanto region and has made numerous appearances/mentions in subsequent games. He also has a recurring role in the Pokemon_(anime) where he gave Ash_Ketchum his Pikachu and acts as a mentor. Ash had also unknowingly befriended a young time-displaced Oak in the fourth movie, Pokemon_4ever_Celebi:_The_Voice_of_the_Forest.
