A DC_Comics character first introduced in Batman: The Animated Series as a henchwoman to the Joker, but was then incorporated into the mainstream comics and became a popular character in her own right.
Dr. Harleen Quinzel was originally a psychologist who ended up falling for the Joker and being in an abusive relationship with him. She has since become an offbeat antiheroine and entered a more healthy relationship with Poison_Ivy.
