Polyamory is a term used for consensual romantic relationships involving more than two partners. These relationships may be open - allowing the partners to have other partners outside the relationship, or they may be closed - being just as dedicated as a typical monogamous relationship. Not all partners have to be romantically involved with each other, "V" shaped relationships are still polyamorous.

Generally speaking, this tag should only be used if there is evidence in the post to suggest the characters are in a romantic relationship, and should not just be used for general group sex scenarios. Romantic ambiance or just generally "loving" shows of affection should be shown.
