Don't hold your breath; I don't want to get into the details, for a source image like this, creating any animation frames for the whole face and hair in any kind of efficient, systematic way where it actually looks like light reflecting off said objects is a pain in the ass. I experimented a lot with this one just to get it looking decent; doing anything fancier than just color-shifting the entire image, like this one, doesn't seem feasible.

May have misunderstood you, but do you mean something like this? (postimg.org/image/vufvuz6fn/ ) Tomoki's gif only has the eyes moving, so wouldn't 'putting the two together' only mean putting those eye frames onto your gif?
