That's called a purchase fee, not a donation.
About that, though.
So, what? If they don't sell a hundred copies, you lose $16? Doesn't make me wanna run out and preorder.
This is a really odd thing to do. You're essentially telling everyone who's thinking of preordering that what they're paying for could be free later. I mean, sure, they still get bonus pics, but they won't be preordering for those, they want the comic. But now they have to consider if it's worth it when they could just get it for free.
That said, I'm always a fan of making hypnoporn available for viewing. So I'd consider giving $16 for the chance of making this viewable to the masses. Though I'm kind of put off by the fact that the info page doesn't have empty eyes on the characters. It would be a bummer if they disappeared so soon after the induction.

Actually, whether or not the goal reaches 100 or 150 you'll still get a copy of the comic sent to you. It's for a chance to make it available for free, so everyone can enjoy it.
Trust me. As the one who wrote the script for this comic, it is well worth it. There's more hypno goodness where that came from. :D

Well, I'm doing my part to help spread the word to raise the funds. And it is still a while before the due date June 27th arrives. I have faith that the 150 pre-order goal will be met by then.
