It's really subtle, but I think I can actually see the MC in this one, Tak.

His hand is emanating a subtle purple light. You can see it reflecting off of parts of her skin, as well. Hands don't normally emit light, so that could be taken as an ambiguous sign of magic. Then there's the fact of his gesture, reaching out toward her face as though he were grabbing something from three feet away.

And her eyes are quite empty despite the numerous light sources that should naturally reflect off of them. Though it's hard to notice with the low-ish resolution of the overall image and how small a part of the image her eyes are, zooming in to take a look removes all doubt.

I can easily see this as some sort of magic-based MC just based on those factors.

The artist tagged the picture on their tumblr as "hypontized", so it's definitely intended to be hypnosis, it just hasn't been conveyed as clearly as in most other pictures. I agree with most of the stuff Vanndril said: it might not be as blatant as most, but reaching out with a glowing hand to the face of someone when we know it's an intended hypnosis image seems to me like it's obvious what's going on.
The "blank eyes" thing is a bit arguable in my opinion, but it is notable that she doesn't have the strong red irises that Midna usually has.

Oh, but neither do his other Midna pics. Scratch that last sentence.
