I believe Grimest is referring to Disney's more recent decision to cancel the Tron Legacy sequel they were in talks about based on the poor box office performance of Tomorrowland.

No, but it was a Sci-Fi flick and I suppose Disney is iffy on that genre if it isn't in the MCU or Star Wars. Look at how they handled the marketing for John Carter (Mark Kermode voice) OF MARS!

Disney's sci-fi output deserves more love. Especially The Black Hole.

Can't believe Tron MC took this long given the whole episodes of it in Tron: Uprising. If the Tron Legacy sequel is cancelled then I'm disappointed, the music and the look of the film were just awesome. It didn't have a great story but neither did the original, and while it doesn't have a retro CGI charm to make it a cult classic, the aesthetic & Daft Punk soundtrack are epic.
