Ms. Blue from The Old Pokemon Manga confused about the recent brainwashing of people into this "app" thing called "Pokemon Go" ..... Excuse me while I go play some Super Nintendo with my Sony Walkman CD player.

This was a commission for Letter, he was feeling down, needed a little pickmeup so he got a cute pic.

Oooooh, Blue! Knowing her, she probably stole that CD player. It's nice to see her, Pokemon Special/Adventures doesn't get enough love.

And yes, Blue, they definitely meant me! Especially if that means it'll be my turn next... ;3

Guuuys. It's not Leaf. Leaf is an entirely different character whom Blue gets the clothes of later in the series because advertisement.

This isn't even that look in question. So no Leaf tag. :V

For tagging purposes, they are the same character. Leaf was a redesign of the unused design for "Blue" in the games. Who is "Green" in the English version of the comics. Blue in English is Red's rival. To avoid all the confusion over which character is Blue and which is Green, we just use Leaf.

I get that, and if this was Leaf's design I'd understand, but this version despite being based off an unused concept for Leaf adopted that identity for her own. And I know the English translation named her green for that reason but Americans are stupid and I hate it. :V She has Squirtle, she is Blue.

But naw, if that's how you guys tag it then that's how you tag it, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

XD I get the frustration letter, but yeah, I've just settled on leaf as well, I get that leaf is different, but until there's enough art of both with clear differences, it'll be easiest to set them as the same tag, especially since they're "both" the female "protaganist" of kanto

I thought they renamed her Green so that the Japanese Green could be Blue in the English version and match his role as the rival to Red in Pokemon Red/Blue? It's actually a shame she wasn't the canon rival, I bet we would have gotten a great storyline with her if her manga arc is anything to go by... Although there're always the Special-inspired hacks, I guess. ^^

Also, don't blame us American readers for the translation team's terrible decisions! Just because we're... Okay, maybe we are a little stupid. Okay, maybe a lot stupid.
