Well, anyway, apologies for not putting the proper Undertale dialog, I have some problems rendering small pixel faces at the moment.

Obvious narrative: Toriel is sick of children going out beyond the ruins and dying a horrible death, and she's not going to accept it any more.

So she hypnotizes Frisk so that he'll stay with her forever and ever and ever and be safe.
