With Jane now surprisingly deep under his spell, Kaa began to play a bit with his pretty prisoner. Curious about her true motives for being in the jungle so late, he squeezed the woman's warm cheeks with his tail to hold her in place for interrogation.
"Now, no more gamess, missss. Why did you really wander out here?" Her strobing eyes guaranteed a true answer.
"I.. I jussst wanted to sssketch you, massster. Y-you're a-" She began to nod off until Kaa shook her head a bit. "You're a brilliant sssspecimen," she muttered thickly through her squished lips.
Kaa was taken aback. "You really wanted to sssee meee?" he asked. Jane had unwittingly appealed to the python's sense of vanity.
