Finally was able to draw something again after a couple months. Tried to paint this without relying on thick solid lines. looks a bit awkward though to me still. need to figure out how to do edges better I think.

Well, thin black lines at borders would be a start on making edges better. But at least with this there's definition between person and background and ball.
