Honestly, the KH plot isn't that hard to comprehend. The only fuzzy part is the time travel introduced in 3D, however everything else is fairly straight forward.

Basically it's Aqua corrupted into the Jewel Princess Heartless that's a special raid boss in Kingdom Hearts Union Cross.
