This is the loose head canon I used to be able to enjoy this game's story:
Jason is related to no one, he is in college in a coed dorm and fall semester is over and everyone else in the dorm has already gone home except for himself and 2 other dorm mates; Jane (his childhood best friend/crush) and Sarah. Jane's mother, Noelle has arrived to pick her up, and Sarah's older sister, Kira has just parked when a blizzard hits trapping you all inside.
