So as the title suggests, it seem deviantArt is beginning a purge of fetish related content, already I heard one artist on there who does Kaa/Snake/Hypno related stuff is gone because of this. I myself am part of that community but my pics are usually photo manipulations and sprite work. So I'm just asking if HypnoHub accepts photo manipulated pictures/sprite pictures of hypno related stuff as I know all sites are different. If this site doesn't, I won't be mad.

About your questions: Manips are accepted as long as there's enough edit and as long as there aren't real people in the manip.

Some moose knuckle on Twitter made a false post saying DA was gonna start doing that and it, of course, freaked people out, which is what I'm sure that user wanted. But I still wouldn't put it passed the devs on DA to maybe do that in the future.

From what I saw all these rules are really old, it's just DA isn't that strict how these rules make us think. The noncon rule was for stuff related to sexual elements like masturbation or sexual assault, and more dramatic stuff like gore.

About the purgue many artist experienced lately (I got suspended for a day), I talked to some of them (some that have been there for a while) and said that is probably a small group just reporting a lot of fetish related content and that happends from time to time or is deviant art taking its rules more seriusly lately, I personally think is a bit of both (considering how credit cards have been this last years)

I think the stuff one need to be more careful on devianart is the bullshit rule about "age up characters still counts as minors". I think that's easily reported and be detected by algorith bots.

It's the thin end of the wedge, make no mistake about that. It's never just one little thing that they want to remove.

Only thing I've ever had banned on DA was sex and sexual fluids. So, no porn. Apparently you can even post that nowadays but it's gotta be via the subscription service and I haven't got that set up yet. Probably still carries its own risk.

In any case I think you can still make it just as sexy as an anime or something but yeah, you do have to be careful with them.

Forgive me for bumping a thread, but what exactly do they mean by "enough edit"? How much would count as enough?

My guess is that it has to look like you actually put some effort into the manip, and didn't just do the "classic" thing where you take someone's art, sloppily blank out the eyes in Paint, then call it a day.
