These eyes are ring eyes where each layer of ring is filled with a color with a hue different than their adjacent ring layer color and the colors repeat every 2 to 3 layers. The most common colors are yellow, blue, and green, though other colors can be used.
In the case that the image is monochrome or greyscale, it gets this tag if the rings use 2 to 3 different values of shading, rather than color hues.
