AI posting and Deleted posts.
This was sudden about the pics that I've posted along with this one:
hypnohub.net/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=182426

As far as I know this pic and the previous of this were from different generators in the same thread I guess.

And also I've seen more posts getting deleted as Mass-produced AI art and I want to ask if it would be wrong, just to avoid again the deletion of many posts again. Would be bad if the same collection of many AI art is posted once at time in different occasions to prevent the flood of it?

Just in case that it can prevent in a future a Dead Source and/or lost media.

I'm not a mod or admin, but I think the issue is with ai pictures posted directly from the IA, for example "4 girls sitting being brainwashed by a helmet", the IA give you 10 results, you just save the pictures and publish everything here.

I think for security things, the picture would be a text manip or be hard edited.

That's pretty much it, from my understanding - it's the same reason that un-manipped Kisekae etc images get removed. Namely, the risk of flooding the Hub with it and drowning out the artists that do make an effort.

In the time it takes a "traditional" artist to make a single image, someone using AI could *easily* pump out enough to get a warning for flooding - and, due to the fact that AI also makes it more accessible for non-artists, the general no-flooding rules would only work to a certain extent (100 uploaders cranking out 3 images each from an AI prompt, technically, wouldn't break those rules).

The only way to *stop* it, then, would either have been to ban AI art altogether, or to "force" the user to put effort into post-AI-generation editing of the image (as is the case with Kisekae stuff). The mods chose the latter.

IDPet and PornAcct got it pretty spot-on. There's been an increasing amount of cases where we've seen the same type of AI-generated scenario getting uploaded with minimal differences and either very little or zero creative input from the author after the fact.

After some internal discussion we've decided that the best way to deal with this is to apply a similar amount of scrutiny as we do with kisekae posts, alongside the existing requirement of a reasonable resolution and non-broken anatomy.

We're not going to go back and delete old posts because that's something we're trying to avoid whenever possible, but any new posts should be either unique, high quality or have some kind of artistic input beyond the prompt itself in order to be accepted.

while we're at it can we do the same for the koikatsu ones because i'm tired of the same "anime girl in bondage urinates while jittering" just with different characters each time

Agreed. Half the time, I can barely even tell if there's any actual hypnosis in them other than purple lighting.

I appreciate the mod team responding to an issue like this as the situation evolves. I'm seeing some other sites getting increasingly flooded with same-y ai art, and I'm glad the mods care about preventing that here. Thank you for all you do!

All right, understood. Thanks for the advice.

i'm happy that we finally managed to have a civil discussion of ai without irrationally bashing it as if it were the actual spawn of satan

my guess is that it's probably because edgeofthemoon didn't participate in this at all

I'm still hung up on this. I don't know if it's a language issue or coherency issue but "lost media" has a connotation that is 1) generally misused and 2) I find hard to apply to internet media, especially GAI.

its pretty weird that you are so pre-occupied with keeping things civil yet you are the first to call someone out by name.

i figured just sending indirect messages like "i hope a certain someone won't show up to this" would be even more rude, wouldn't you agree, i believe it's better to just be open and directly talk about the person, but i've noticed that people in the hub find it less rude to just talk about someone behind their back without citing their names than to just do the thing i did

Actually, the less rude thing would have been to not bring it up at all.

Being open and honest is not the same as name dropping people to start fights or get attention. I don't agree at all! You got called out for being rude and made an excuse that makes no sense.

How would you feel if someone went "Man Im so glad Jigiyak isn't here to ruin this conversation!" Its immature stuff like this that makes me wonder if you are even old enough to be on the hub.
