Hiya, Hypnohub. I tried uploading an image a few days ago, but it never uploads because it "Needs Moderator Approval"..
Is this some form of bug, or is there some certain amount of time I have to wait before it approved..?

I assume the moderator that okays images was having a break for the holidays. It took me a day or so to get one of mine approved as well, so there's probably a backlog.

Does anyone know what the requirements are for not needing moderator approval?

Just need to publish during some time and the approval won't be needed anymore.

if you upload five images to the hub you are automatically exempt from moderator approval, and you will also be able to post links on comments

Links in comments are broken no matter how many pics you've uploaded. Also, to clarify, you have to have 5 pics APPROVED before you're exempt from the manual approval process.

i kind of just assumed that people would have figured that out
