I accidentally deleted the entirety of the text in a couple wiki pages, how to revert back in history.
As the title said, I accidentally somehow deleted all the content from a couple wiki pages just with the search menu. Looking into the history of them there are complete entries, I don't know how to revert them back.

The pages are: androgynous | androgynous_sub | and I think I accidentally made androgynous_pov | androdgynous_pov | androdgynous_sub

Please either help me fix this or tell me how to. I think I deleted the two typos and androgynous_pov, but they're still in the recent changes field so I'm unsure.

edit: Just realized I did this same thing about a year ago (on androgynous), how am I doing this? I'm just in the search feature not clicking edit or anything on the pages. I feel terrible.

edit edit: I think I fixed andrognous by just pasting the old history into the body when editing the page. But, for future reference is there a way to easily revert back in history like on posts? However, I think I messed up really bad with androgynous_sub as there's no history at all. For now I filled it out with the same template from futanari_sub (only navigating by pressing links so I don't cause it again for now.)

edit edit edit: I saw this at the bottom of the edit page "Make sure you understand what you are doing before you hit edit. Any poisoning done accidentally or otherwise will result in a permanent ban." Will this apply even though I never went to the edit page and it happened? Hopefully not... I hope someone replies soon my heart can't take this.

You're fine, we're not going to ban someone over an obvious mistake, doubly so if they're making a honest attempt at fixing it.

Manually copy/pasting the historic version is unfortunately the only way to revert edits.

So speculation:

You typed in "androgynous " in the search bar of the wiki. Note the space at the end. This causes the wiki to think there's no such wiki page, and so directed you to the creation page for "androgynous". Note the space is gone. Probs from some trimming. You then accidentally clicked on the "Create Wiki" button which overwrites the existing wiki page with no content.

Well that's a relief, thanks for the leniency :)

Okay at least now I know.

Thanks, I appreciate this as well, obviously I can neither really confirm nor deny since it was a while ago (and my memory's terrible) I'll try to remember not to add spaces at the end in case that was it :D

It's not infrequent that people accidentally make blank wiki pages. It's quite easy to do so in this wiki, so you're not alone.
Also, that part of the edit page ("Make sure you understand what you are doing before you hit edit. Any poisoning done accidentally or otherwise will result in a permanent ban.") is pretty harsh. If that's easy to change, maybe we should rephrase that. A permanent ban for an accident, without even a warning, doesn't seem like how we do things around here.

It's just a "wiki-like system" on some aspects, not a real wiki, that's why this kind of feature is unavailable.
